REMOTE BACKUP SERVICE

Our online backup service offers an alternative to traditional manual and often un-reliable tape backup systems and provides an off site secure automated daily backup service.

Solutions include daily backups for workstations and laptops as well as comprehensive protection for business servers and applications. Our pricing approach is honest and simple - fixed monthly pricing and no long term contracts. Online backup can benefit most businesses - providing hassle-free, automatic data backup and fast, simple data recovery. 

Most companies rely on a member of staff to change tapes daily, but are these checked to make sure the backup was successful ? Are the tapes taken off site and not left on the premises (required to be compliant with most business insurance policies). Are the tapes secure from fire and theft as these will contain confidential company accounts and data ?

Due to the service being fully automated it is a 365 day per year service therefore holiday's and sickness are no longer a problem. Once the system is installed and set up with the passwords you require you have only to read the email confirmation each day. Should you require a file recovered you can download this yourself or liaise with our technical staff who recover the file/s to your server. All data is encrypted prior to being uploaded to the storage servers and therefore is not accessible by anyone outside of your business network.

NETWORK RECYCLE BIN
Files deleted from a network drive are usually immediately removed and these do not go into any recycle bin. This can be dangerous as it may not be noticed that files have been accidentally deleted until after your backup cycle has expired. Undelete is software that sits on the server and keeps all deleted network files. These are kept for a set period and then removed to free up disk space. This can provide a reliable copy of deleted files that are kept for several months before being removed.

NETWORK HARD DRIVE BACKUP SYSTEM
Many of our customers have this system which synchronises files on the server each night. Any files that have changed are updated and the old files moved to a safe area and kept in date order. This allows for quick recovery of files that are deleted, but also allows you to recover changed an deleted files going backwards months or years. This works out a cheap solution covering your systems from changing and deleted files for long periods. Also in the event of a server failure staff can be pointed at the new area to work and access files until the server is back online.
